1. Who we are

Preeority ("we", "our", "us") operates the website at preeority.com and the Preeority application. This policy explains what data we collect, why, and how you can exercise your rights.

2. Data we collect

Account data. When you create an account (via Google OAuth or email/password), we collect your email address and, if you use Google Sign-In, your name and profile picture as provided by Google.

Content data. Lists, tasks, and workshop sessions you create are stored to provide the service.

Workshop participant data. Participants who join a workshop session without an account are anonymous. We do not collect names or contact details from participants.

Usage data. We collect basic analytics (page views, session counts) via Google Analytics. This data is anonymised and aggregated.

3. How we use your data

To provide and improve the Preeority service
To authenticate you and maintain your session
To send transactional emails if you opt into notifications
To understand how the product is used (aggregated analytics only)

We do not sell your data. We do not use your content data to train AI models or for advertising.

4. Data storage and security

Your account and application data (lists, tasks, sessions) is stored on our backend, hosted on Heroku. Authentication is handled by Firebase Authentication. We use session cookies (HTTP-only, Secure) to maintain your login state. Data is encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and at rest.

5. Data retention

We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. You can request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing hello [at] preeority.com. We will process deletion requests within 30 days.

6. Your rights (GDPR)

If you are based in the European Economic Area, you have the right to:

Access the personal data we hold about you
Request correction of inaccurate data
Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten")
Object to or restrict certain processing
Data portability

7. Cookies

We use a single authentication cookie to keep you logged in. We also use Google Analytics cookies for aggregated usage statistics. You can block cookies in your browser settings; note that blocking the authentication cookie will prevent you from staying logged in.

8. Third-party services

Heroku — Backend hosting and primary data storage
Google Firebase Authentication — Secure sign-in and session management
Google Analytics — Anonymised usage analytics
Google Sign-In — Optional OAuth login

Each of these services has its own privacy policy. We encourage you to review them.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top. Continued use of Preeority after a policy change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
